Media Communications Ltd
Media Communications has been a leading PR agency in the film, dvd, music and wider leisure sectors for the past 20 years. During that time the agency has been retained by major players such as Entertainment Film Distributors, Entertainment In Video, Universal Pictures Video, Universal Playback, Universal Music, Warner Vision, Warner Music, Fremantle Home Entertainment, Abbey Home Media, Contender Entertainment Group and Momentum Pictures.
We have worked on the DVD release of many major box office hits including the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Wedding Crashers, Phantom Of the Opera, Brokeback Mountain, Next, Fracture, the Rush Hour trilogy and Hairspray.
When DVD first emerged as the new format to replace VHS video, Media Communications worked with the DVD Entertainment Group, an alliance of content distributors and hardware companies, to win public support for the format.
Now the agency is involved with the marketing of the next generation of disc formats, Blu-ray and HD-DVD.
Celebrities that the agency has worked with include Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and players Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes, comedians Harry Enfield, Billy Connolly and Dawn French, ex-motor racing TV commentator Murray Walker, rock bands Cream, Moody Blues, Yes, Fleetwood Mac and Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, Choice FM presenter Calvin Francis and top selling children’s author Francesca Simon who wrote the hugely popular Horrid Henry books.
Media Comms recently extended its speciality sectors to include fashion and lifestyle and is currently working with the sensational new Korean jewellery designer Jang Minsook and the national makeover and stylist franchise House Of Colour.
